Carroll P-TECH Academy

Welcome to the Carroll P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) Academy at Moody! Our unique early college program offers students a choice between two distinct academic pathways: Maritime or Dental.

Maritime Program

The Maritime regional program of study provides students with the foundational knowledge and skills needed for various career opportunities related to operating water vessels. Students will explore maintenance procedures, maritime navigational aids, traffic controls, and communication equipment, all while ensuring compliance with federal safety regulations.

Secondary Courses for High School Credit:

Level 1: Principles of Maritime Science
Level 2: Maritime Science I
Level 3: Maritime Science II
Level 4: Practicum in Transportation Systems

Dental Program

Our Dental Program program introduces students to career paths related to diagnosing and treating various illnesses. Whether working independently or as part of a healthcare team, students will gain valuable insight into treatment options and rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring daily living skills for individuals with disabilities or developmental delays.

Level 2: Dental Anatomy and Physiology
Level 3: Anatomy and Physiology, Dental Equipment and Procedures
Level 4: Practicum in Health Science

Admission Information

Admission to the P-TECH Academy is available strictly through application, and only students entering the 9th grade can apply. We encourage all interested students to consider the exciting opportunities available at Carroll P-TECH!
